Psychotherapy
The skill of cognitive psychotherapy looks at the unique internal physiological processes that are used by the individual to understand how they obtain and maintain their "problem". The mechanism for change can then be implemented.
The process of psychotherapy incorporates many of the techniques drawn from other therapies. Counselling is an integral part of the whole process and whilst counselling offers the individual the opportunity to gain structure and direction in their thinking and therefore in their lives, psychotherapy goes beyond this and deals with the problem at a cellular level.
